D3™ technology is technically superior but is still remarkably flexible and easy to use, providing valuable benefits for customers. The system architecture means that:
- Minimal user training is required - controls are simple, the system is always on, display is uncomplicated and clearly shows measurement value, and alarms can be set if thresholds are exceeded.
- Consistent results are achieved between users. Device parameters can be established from a single control point and cannot be modified in the field.
- System status is always known. Because the system has a visual, audible and tactile alarm and indicators clearly show measurement activity (device heartbeat) and alarm status, the user can be certain the device is working correctly.
- No special handling is required allowing the user to focus on their own priorities without distraction. Our products are designed for front-line, first-responder usage, with a robust, solid state system and easy portability (devices can be worn over protective clothing).
- Devices are highly portable, small, lightweight and wearable for full shifts, enabling our products to be used consistently as part of standard equipment rather than just for special circumstances.
- A simple wireless network can be used for real-time, distributed monitoring. Our devices include a Bluetooth wireless link for parameter setting and data download.
